Develop a body of work: Dance, Drama, Musical Theatre

If you’ve completed a two-year Performing Arts diploma, you can gain the Bachelor of Creativity (Performing Arts) degree with a further one year’s study. You’ll develop a body of work in your specialisation. Learn more about creative collaboration and building a career in the creative industries. 

Specialise in Māori and Pacific Dance, Commercial Dance, Drama or Musical Theatre.

Māori and Pacific Dance

In the first two years you'll develop a strong base in Māori, Samoa, Cook Islands and New Zealand contemporary dance performance, and build strengths in technique, performance and choreography. In the third year, you build on the knowledge they have acquired to create and perform an original body of work.

You'll do core courses as well as the following topics:
